Basketball is more than a sport to TGL's founders. It's life. For Ralph, 31, and Durell, 30, basketball gave them opportunities they'd never dreamed of: traveling, meeting new people, and even a free college education.

 

Though they're older now, basketball still burns deep within their hearts, just as it had when they first palmed a ball to play the game. Meeting people in the community with the same passion, they felt it only right to start a league where "hoopers" could still display their talents and teach younger generations how the game of basketball can change their lives for the better.

 

In the end, these two former high school and college athletes wanted to organize a league they'd be proud to play in. And believe they've done just that with The G League.
